Religions of Godsbane: The Ascended

The official banner for the Ascended, one of the many religions within the fantasy/steampunk world of Godsbane.

The Ascended are a small religious groups isolated to the far north that believe the northern lights are the spirits of their ancestors returned to watch over them. They believe that when they die, their spirit will rise to the heavens and become part of the northern lights themselves. The elders frequently hold council and consult the aurorae for guidance, believing that the different colors of the aurorae represent different responses and counsel from their ancestors.
